Austin Paddock was born and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida, where he was very active! He took part in Little League Baseball and became involved in 4-H when he was 10 years old, working with the community and showing pigs at the county fair.

During high school, he played on the baseball and tennis teams, in addition to serving as the freshman geography teacher's assistant. He entered the workforce at the age of 16, cashiering at a local restaurant's drive-thru window. In 2013, Austin graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School, where he was dual-enrolled at Indian River State College.

After working for his family's feed and western, he served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Indian River Hospital. Wanting to experience more of the country, he began a career driving semi trucks, which allowed him to visit 47 of the 48 contiguous states.

After extensive travel, Austin found home in central New York, where he has settled down, bought a house, and created a very happy CNY life with his partner and two cats. Public service and helping others has always been a high priority in Austin's life, from covering friends' food bills to opening his house to friends who need a roof over their heads.

Becoming his state's Senator would not only allow Austin to help those in district 53, but would give him a platform to help all New Yorkers.
